Sales Manager East Europe

 

You are responsible for

  • Developing business with customers in Eastern European countries such as Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary and acting as our representative in the region
  • Active consultancy of existing customer contacts (OEMs, distributors, and end users)
  • Acquiring new customers and providing quotations to customers
  • Providing technical support to customers and prospects
  • Consistent market/competition monitoring and analysis
  • Developing and implementing sales/marketing plans and activities
  • Creating presentations. Preparing and participating in exhibitions
  • Regular contact and exchange with head office in Germany

Profile of the ideal candidate

  • A passion for sales
  • Qualifications: Education in engineering or sales with a good technical background, ideally in air compressors & vacuum pumps or related products
  • Experience in sales and independent customer acquisition working from a home office environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-reliant, reliable, and pro-active
  • Accustomed to frequent travel
  • Fluent in English and French (basic German optional)

You are responsible for:

  1. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
    • Conduct market analyses to identify market potentials and trends.
    • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and derive actionable insights.
  2. Product Development and Optimization:
    • Collaborate in the development of new products and optimization of existing product lines.
    • Work closely with the Product Management team and other departments.
  3. Customer Communication:
    • Assist in creating marketing materials and product presentations.
    • Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs.
  4. Project Management:
    • Contribute to the planning and implementation of product projects.
    • Coordinate internal processes and collaborate with various departments.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain product documentation and databases.

Your profile:

  • Student in Business, Engineering, or Natural Sciences.
  • Interest in technical products and their applications.
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and analytical mindset.
  • Good communication skills in German and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
