Medical compressor for respiratory equipment

Breathing air compressor SICOLAB med - medical compressor for ventilators

Oil-free compressed air supply for artificial respiration

As especially quiet oil-free compressor station for the medical compressed air supply, the breathing air compressor SICOLAB med supplies dry and clean air thanks to the integrated membrane dryer and a sub-microfilter of 0,3 µm.

Medical devices must meet certain requirements in order to ensure patient safety and product quality. As a certified medical compressor for ventilators, SICOLAB med has the necessary certification as a class IIb medical device in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC and complies with Article 120 of the European Medical Devices Regulation, (EU) 2017/745 (MDR). The breathing air compressor SICOLAB med provides the required compressed air for the supply of a ventilator and is suitable for the artificial respiration of patients. It can be used as an air compressor for ventilators either as a spare device in standby mode or directly as the main air supply for a ventilator.

The soundproof compressor station SICOLAB med meets the highest requirements:

  • Flow rate of 30 l/min at 3 bar
  • Compressed air tank of 3 litres
  • Sound pressure level of only 47 dB(A)

The breathing air compressor SICOLAB med for ventilators is particularly user-friendly. Automatic condensate evaporation avoids the need for manual condensate draining, while the intake pressure control ensures smooth, energy-efficient operation.

Choose from different versions of the breathing air compressor SICOLAB med for different supply voltages:

220-240V, 220-230V, 115-120V, 127V, 110V, 100V

Advantages of the breathing air compressor SICOLAB med

  • Very quiet with 47 dB(A)
  • Flow rate of 30 l/min at 3 bar
  • Space-saving thanks to compact dimensions
  • Dry air through an integrated membrane dryer
  • High degree of filtration thanks to 3 filtration steps
  • Automatic condensate drain
