These are some of the measures you can take to extend the life of your compressor:
Filter change - annually
We recommend an annual filter change to protect against wear and damage to components and minimise the risk of breakdown. It also ensures optimum air quality and reliable performance.
Friction pairing - individual replacement
The service life of this component is influenced by various factors and the number of operating hours. Therefore, there is no fixed replacement interval, but must be determined on an individual basis. We have created different user groups to help you determine your individual replacement interval.
Vibration damper - every 2 to 4 years, depending on application
Vibration mounts reduce vibration and noise, protecting your compressor from damage and employees from noise pollution. In mobile applications, vibration dampers are under more stress and should be replaced after two years to protect the compressor.
Carbon brushes in DC permanent magnet motors D-Series compressors: Check every 1000 hours of operation
Replace at the following lengths:
Type D-100: Length < 15 mm
Type D-061: Length < 9 mm
Type D-030 and D-040: Length < 8 mm
